Sump pumps are ideal for basement drainage services to drain clear groundwater from the sump pits automatically and prevent flooding. Effluent or utility pumps are designed to remove gray water that contain minimal solids (up to 3/4 inch), from sump pits, septic tanks and laundry tray systems. Sewage pumps dispose off waste water containing unwanted solids, up to 2 inches in diameter, to a septic line or a sewer.
