CProto handheld punches and chisels are designed to remove pins and bushings, as well as cut or split steel objects. These tools feature heat-treated, stainless steel construction to provide greater strength and durability and a highly-modified parabolic striking end to prevent mushrooming and chipping. All the models are equipped with a polished panel marked with the tool number and size for easy identification and a pouch for organised storing.

Selected punch set tools from General are best suited for punching round holes in sheet metal, gasket materials, leather, canvas, plastic and flexible rubber workpieces. They feature an inside taper that ensures maximum clearance for ease-of-use and heat-treated forged steel construction that withstands harsh industrial abuse while ensuring long-term durability. Centre punches are used to mark the centre point, especially when drilling holes, for precision.
Taper punches are ideal for aligning existing holes in two or more work pieces prior to bolting or riveting. However, roll pin punches, also known as pilot punches, are used to drive or remove hollow tension pins, such as tapered and rolled or solid pins.
They are mostly made of high carbon steel that has been heat treated.
