DDayton Class 2 transformers are suitable for low-voltage devices (up to 480VAC), such as thermostats, gas valves, relays and others. These units are used in conjunction with secondary circuits that are considered safe from a fire initiation standpoint and prevent chances of a shock due to the power limitations of the class 2 transformers. They are available in open and enclosed type enclosures and are compliant with UL and cURus standards.

They operate on temperatures ranging from 0 degree to 49 degrees Celsius and come with open enclosures for inherent explosion safety & are insusceptible to overvoltages. Further, these single phase transformers require less space to install and are available in 16VAC, 24VAC & 28VAC output voltages.
