Dayton air chain hoists are used for lifting and lowering heavy loads using a chain block mechanism in flammable, dusty or dirty environments. These air operated hoists (also known as pneumatic hoists) are perfect for applications where electricity is not available and their spark-resistant models are ideal where hazardous substances are frequently used. These Dayton hoists come equipped with pendant throttle control which for safety and comfort, a swivel top mount hook and a load chain hook with safety latch. Air chain hoists are designed to lift and move heavy loads (up to 12000 lb) safely in harsh working environments. These air powered hoists offer electricity-free operation to ensure no arcing hazards occur, which may cause an explosion.
