They can be washed and reused on most wet or dry surfaces. Contour sanding sponges are used for one-sided sanding on ceramics, railings or wooden surfaces. 3M drywall sanding sponges are used for spot repairing in drywall and plaster surfaces while Norton sanding sponges are used to sand wood, paint, plastic and metallic surfaces. Selected models with angled surfaces allow for sanding in tight spaces. These aluminium oxide / silicon carbide sanding sponges are available in grits ranging from extra coarse to ultra-fine on Raptor Supplies.
