Evaporative cooling pads provide a large surface area where heat is removed from warm air drawn into a cooler. These cooling pads, also called swamp cooler pads, easily fit inside an evaporative cooler. Raptor Supplies offers a huge variety of evaporative cooler pads from Portacool and Mastercool. Portacool cooling pads feature specially designed media to allow efficient water evaporation. They are constructively engineered for easy maintenance, removal and replacement. Mastercool pads are constructed using premium CELdek media in a multi-layered design for efficiency. They come with media pegs and clips to facilitate easy installation. Choose from a wide range of these evaporative cooling pads, available in depths ranging from 2 to 61 inches on Raptor Supplies.
The pads' service life can be extended by cleaning and flushing them once every three months.
Evaporative cooling pads typically last between two and five years. However, they need to be changed much more frequently in places with poor water quality and where coolers are regularly used.
