FPlow bolts are fasteners that hold the cutting-edge blade to the bottom surface of the board in plowing applications. They are used for snow clearing, excavation, construction & agriculture applications for keeping the plow blade secure.
Their square neck prevents them from turning during tightening / removal of a nut. These Grade 5 units are made of medium-strength steel having a minimum tensile strength of 105000 psi. They are zinc plated to avoid mild-to-high corrosion resistance in wet environments.

Plow bolts are fasteners that hold the cutting edge blade to the bottom surface of the board in plowing applications. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of plow bolts from Fabory. They are used for snow clearing, excavation, construction & agriculture applications for keeping the plow blade secure.
The shoulders provide an unthreaded area to prevent sheering & snapping off of bolts due to misdirected pressure on the attached components (like nuts).
Traditional bolts may or may not sit flush into the holes, but plow bolts are designed to sit flush once installed & not protrude out of the workpiece's surface. Plow bolts also have a neck below the head to keep the bolt stationary on the surface while adjusting a nut on it.
Plow bolts should not be confused with carriage bolts as they have a different neck design. Carriage bolts are generally used in smaller equipment like snowplows attached to pick-up trucks, whereas plow bolts are used in larger plow equipment like excavators. Carriage bolts, unlike plow bolts, do not have an angled head for fitting onto countersunk holes. They have a flat profile across the bottom of the head.
