Jack screws are gearbox assemblies (either worm gear or bevel gear) and transmission products (lead screw, ball screw or roller screw) that convert rotary motion to linear motion using a motor. They can push, pull, tension, lock, unlock, tilt, pivot, roll, slide, lift or lower loads weighing a few kilos to thousands of tonnes.
