Micro Plastics shoulder washers provide insulation against electricity & moisture, and are often used as bumpers, guides & spacers in the automotive, fabrication, electrical, furniture & HVAC industries.
They are flame resistant and comply with UL94 V2 standards.
These self-lubricating washers are made of Nylon 6/6, which can endure temperatures up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, It provides a high degree of mechanical strength and provides resistance against moisture / filth / fractures / abrasions.
The dielectric strength of a material determines how well it can store electrical energy. The dielectric breakdown resistance of a material under applied voltage is also measured. Volts per unit thickness (dielectric strength) is the measurement of a material's ability to act as an insulator. These washers have a dielectric strength of 300 to 400V/mil.
