How far apart should pipe hangers be placed?

The maximum horizontal hanger spacing for ABS and PVC pipes should be 4 feet. For pipes having sizes 1 inch or less and 2-3/4 inch or greater, the maximum horizontal hanger spacing for CPVC pipe or tubing should be 3 feet.

How do you measure a clevis?

Clevis pins are measured from the bottom of the head to the end of the pin.The effective grip length should be calculated from the bottom of the head to the top of the hole.
