ALittle Giant TE-7-MD-HC Series pumps are magnetic drive pumps designed for handling strong acids in industrial, commercial or residential applications. They are engineered for stringent chemical transfer or circulating processes. These TE-7-MD-HC pumps feature a 3/4 hp TEFC motor for increased protection against weather, dirt and moisture. They are equipped with a glass-filled polypropylene volute for improved strength, dimensional stability and structural rigidity. These pumps offer creep resistance and increased wear resistance. They have a specific gravity rating of 1.1 and further offer fluoroelastomer (FKM) O-rings and ceramic thrust washers and shafts to resist chemical corrosion and wear.

These pumps feature magnets on the impeller and a motor shaft for transferring full torque of the motor to the pump. With the motor shafts not in direct contact with their wet end, these magnetic-drive pumps are not only able to effectively reduce the occurrence of pump leakage but also the maintenance cost of a mechanical seal. To further reduce human effort, self-priming option is available on selected pumps. These pumps do not require manual filling of the suction pipe with liquid to remove air.
