AAACap nails are used to attach roofing felt, house wrap, cardboard, fabric, leather, tar paper and insulation foam boards. These nails are available in lengths ranging from 1 to 2 inches on Raptor Supplies.
Nails are more flexible under pressure than screws. Thus, they are often preferred for structural joining (including wall framing), securing plywood sheathing for exterior walls, installing hardwood floors and attaching siding & roofing.
The zinc exterior of galvanised roofing nails makes them stronger than both aluminium & stainless steel alternatives, in addition to providing rust resistance.
